NJANKA, Pemain Arema Indonesia Eks 2 Piala Dunia dan 1 Piala Afrika





Musim ini Arema Indonesia beruntung mendapatkan bek asing asal Kamerun yang sarat pengalaman, Pierre Njanka Beyaka. Setelah kontrak Njanka berakhir di Persija Jakarta pertengahan 2009, Arema Indonesia tak ragu untuk segera mengontrak Njanka dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun (berakhir 31 Juni 2010). Pengalaman dan pampilan apik selama bermain di Persija (meskipun jarang diturunkan) memikat hati manajemen Arema Indonesia. Manajemen Arema Indonesia berharap dengan hadirnya Njanka akan mempersolid lini belakang tim Arema Indonesia. Tugas berat pun dipikul Njanka, tak tanggung-tanggung Njanka langsung dijadikan sebagai kapten tim Arema Indonesia. Seorang Njanka memang pantas menyandang ban kapten karena memiliki pengalaman internasional di 2 Piala Dunia (1998, 2002) dan 1 Piala Afrika (2004). Hasilnya sangat mujarab. Lini belakang Arema Indonesia lebih solid dibanding musim kompetisi sebelumnya. Bahkan Njanka dkk mampu merengkuh trofi Djarum Indonesia Super League untuk pertama kalinya untuk musim kompetisi 2009/10.
